THE PORTUGAL JAPAN (アナログ)
The pride of Kumamoto, the legendary female punk band THE PORTUGAL JAPAN's best album is now a limited edition analog LP! Truly a perfect record!
This famous punk rock album, which was born out of Kumamoto's Hi Province in 2005, is now an LP! With a foundation reminiscent of Sonics-style 60s garage punk and the Ramone's early work from the 70s, this masterpiece overflows with the youth of high school rock 'n' roll, while its all-English lyrics draw a clear line between it and so-called Japanese punk. Their music was well-received overseas, and they performed an America-centered tour while they their songs saw airtime in various countries in Europe. In some parts of Boston, they were also known as teengenerate and supersnazz. Once you hear the sweet yet heartrending voice of the vocalist, you sure become addicted, wanting to hear more and more. This composition was one of the most listened to albums in 2005. Many in the industry also consider the bonus track cover of MC5's "KICK OUT THE JAMS" to be one of the best covers around. [Gloss poly-propylene finish / Limited edition]
